Vergennes, Vermont, is the state's oldest city, yet remain a vibrant community to this day! The history of the City spans over 200 years and is visible in the striking architecture of the historic buildings that line Main Street. Charming downtown Vergennes features a city green surrounded by an eclectic mix of businesses that offer some of the best shopping and dining in New England. A quick stroll from the heart of the city takes you to Falls Park and Macdonough Park where you'll find walking paths and picnic areas alongside Otter Creek, a beautiful view of the waterfalls, and docks for boaters.
